Who I am
Sanket Packet is the trading name of Sanket, a freelance motion designer and sole proprietor in India. For enquiries and client contact data I decide how data is used. For footage and files you send me for a project, I process them on your instructions.
What I collect and why
- Enquiries and bookings: your name, work email, company, time zone and what you tell me about your project, so I can reply and schedule a call.
- Project files: footage, voices, images, plans and documents you send, used only to make your deliverables.
- Invoicing: billing name, address and tax registration numbers, kept as tax law requires.
- Outreach: if I contacted you first, I used a business address you or your company published, and I say where I found it in my first message.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers your chosen currency in your own browser only.
Who processes data for me
Hosting (Railway), file review (Frame.io), video hosting, scheduling (Cal.com), email, cloud backup (Backblaze B2), file transfer, and payment providers (Razorpay, Skydo). Some of these are outside India and outside your country. A current list is available on request and is attached to every data processing agreement.
How long I keep it
- Raw project footage: deleted 90 days after final payment, unless you ask me to keep it.
- Finished masters and project files: kept for 24 months so I can make changes, then deleted.
- Invoices and payment records: kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.
- Enquiries that don't become projects: deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, object to outreach, or nominate someone to act for you. Email sanket@sanketpacket.com and I will reply within 30 days.
In India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India. In the EU and UK, under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Clients in the EU and UK
India does not have an EU adequacy decision. When I process personal data in your footage, I sign a data processing agreement that includes the EU standard contractual clauses (or the UK Addendum) before any files are shared.
